The Communications Marketing Association (CMA) membership is comprised of the leading manufacturers, manufacturer's representatives and distributors in the wireless communications industry. For the past 38 years, CMA has sponsored the annual Communications Marketing Conference (CMC) with the purpose of educating, inspiring and continually increasing the successful relationship of these three groups. While CMA offers value to these professionals on a year-around basis, the core value is found in the CMC event. CMA also maintains an on-line database of manufacturer's reps, distributors and manufacturers, utilized daily by public safety, government and industrial wireless buyers.
Participants in the CMC engage in a dynamic and well-orchestrated event designed to maximize the opportunities for training, education and networking. Manufacturers find CMC to be a convenient, concentrated opportunity to hold classroom style training for their manufacturer's reps and distributors on new products and company initiatives outside of the distractions of a trade show or the expense of an on-site meeting at their offices. For new and emerging manufacturers, CMC is a truly valuable event, because it gives them time and a professional environment to meet with a variety of manufacturer's representatives and distributors from around the U.S. and use the event as a way to launch their successful sales efforts. For manufacturer's representatives and distributors, they travel to one location and participate in many different training sessions. For all of the participants, the networking at CMC leads to long-lasting business contacts and opportunities for collaboration.
There are few conferences as focused and well-thought out as CMC, which is why many attendees come back year after year and count it as one of the most powerful events on their professional calendar. For leaders in wireless, CMC a must-attend.
