CMA Committees
Membership/Industry Relations Committee
Chairperson: Phil Casciano The membership/industry relations committee is tasked with identifying potential manufacturer, distributor and representative members, explaining the benefits of membership. This committee is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive public image for the Association, handling public relation matters, developing strategies to successfully market and advertise events and programs and develop media opportunities to showcase the Association.
Training Committee
Chairperson: Carl Mathis, Power Sales; Members: Phil Casciano, PMC Associates; Carroll Hollingsworth, DH Marketing
The training committee will provide learning/training opportunities for the general membership by providing speakers and seminars related to all aspects of their businesses and work toward the continuous improvement of the caliber of training provided by manufacturers during the annual conference.
Finance Committee
Chairperson: Larry Weber, The Sales Group
The committee serves as a consulting body to the administration of the budget. It is the responsibility of the finance committee to analyze and advise expenditures and to prepare the annual budget. The committee will work with the Executive Director and President in preparation of the annual budget.
Sponsors
Chairperson: Rex Reed, Aeroflex
The primary responsibility of this committee is to retain existing sponsor partners, identify and recruit new sponsor partners and develop ongoing opportunities for financial industry support of the Associations annual conference.
Newsletter/Website
Chairperson: Richard Van Tieghem, Eventide. This committee is reponsible for the Association's quarterly e-newsletter, period Bulletins and for maintaining and CMA web site.
Future Sites
Chairperson: Barry Webster, Sigma Marketing
The Future Sites Committee is responsible for researching and proposing sites for the Association's annual meeting, negotiating contracts with the selected sites including meeting space and hotel rooms.
Conference Banquet/Theme/Sponsors
Chairperson: Carroll Hollingsworth
This committee is responsible for the overall concept on the conference approach including the opening session. Responsibilities include planning the awards banquet with the Executive Director, including the agenda and entertainment, coordinating the Awards Banquet events and emceeing the evening. This committee will work to retain existing sponsor partners, identify and recruit new sponsors and develop ongoing opportunities for financial support of the Association's annual conference.
Golf/Casino/Social Events
Chairperson: Larry Feige, Talley
The responsibility of this Committee to plan and coordinate all aspects of the annual golf tournament and assist with tournament promotion including advertising, direct mail campaign, sponsorships and personal visits to golf course. This committee also coordinates all conference social events as may be approved by the board of directors.
